  Goodyear NEW STORE CONCEPT

Goodyear sought to develop a new concept store design and environmental branding with a goal to re-imagine the Goodyear retail customer experience in order to:

• Eliminate friction in the tire-buying experience

• Create a seamless transition between various touch points within the tire-buying experience

• Determine the appropriate offers, partnerships, experiences, etc. that create an optimal tire-buying experience

• Disrupt the current tire-buying model to establish the Goodyear brand as the preferred offer and experience

• Sell more Goodyear brand tires

Customer focus groups performed by Goodyear also determined customers were not impressed by the tired Goodyear stores and needed updating. Customers wanted a warm and inviting space to wait in that had coffee offerings, comfy seating, and felt like home. Yet at the same time the customers wanted to see innovation, see that Goodyear was the expert in the tire industry, and that the the service was top quality.
